How to book and plan your family session

I. Let's chat

  • After you fill out an inquiry form, we'll chat about your vision for family photos to pick the perfect date & location and go over all of the details to get you fully booked.
  • A few weeks before your session we'll touch base to plan wardrobe and I'll send a session guide full of info to help make your session everything you want it to be.

II. Session Day

  • You'll arrive at your scheduled session time for and hour of pampering with hair & makeup by Courtney Black (she's literally the best). Whether your session is in studio or on location we will always start in studio.
  • After hair & makeup, the rest of the family will join us or we will meet them on location. That's right moms... you get 1 hour of uninterrupted time to yourself!
  • Your session will be a mixture of lifestyle & posed family to focus on the love and connection between you. My session flow allows me to focus on all the little details like posing & wardrobe changes while you get to focus on being in the moment. We'll laugh, share some tender moments, and create beautiful memories.

III. Relive the moment

  • 7-14 days after your session we can meet at the studio for your viewing appointment or I can send an online gallery.  In person, we'll sit down together and go through all of your images. You'll choose your digital images included with your session and purchase anything additional.  I'll help you through the entire process and answer any questions about all of the amazing products I have to offer.  You'll leave that meeting with your digital gallery and any products will arrive within 2-3 weeks.  If you go with an online gallery, I'll set everything up for you to chose your images easily.
